Henan Mine Crane developed an intelligent warehouse-management crane for a steel-structure company. The original project included vehicle recognition, intelligent steel-plate recognition, automatic marking, 5G millimeter-wave communication, crane anti-collision and travel-accuracy verification.
A steel plate yard has to manage many plate sizes, grades, batch numbers and downstream production priorities. A conventional crane can move plates, but it does not automatically know which plate should be unloaded, where it should be stored or when it should be retrieved.
